Our candles are made by Patrician and used by many florists and crafters. Colors include: Autumn Yellow, Basil, Black, Burgundy, Chocolate, Dark Green, Green Apple, Ivory, Light Blue, Orange, Pink, Pomegranate, Purple, Red, Rosewood, Spice Gold, Taupe, Teal Blue, White, and Yellow.
Under normal circumstances our taper candles are:

- available in 22 colors (except the 6″ which are only available in white or ivory)

- perfect for wedding candles, advent wreaths, floral and centerpiece arrangements
Many churches and activity centers use our Patrician candles for Advent wreaths and crafts. These candles are beautiful in floral arrangements!
For reference, the base of the 12″ taper candle is about 3/4″ in diameter or about 2 1/2″ in circumference.
If you are using these to construct an advent wreath and are wondering about the meaning of the candles, here is what we found:
“The four candles represent the four weeks of Advent, and one candle is lit each Sunday. Three of the candles are purple because the color violet is a liturgical color that signifies a time of prayer, penance, and sacrifice. The first candle, which is purple, symbolizes hope. … The third candle is pink and symbolizes joy. In the centre of the circle is a fifth candle (traditionally white), the Christ Candle, which is lit on Christmas Day.”

Patrician brand candles truly do smoke less and drip less than any other brand. Central Christian Church has been using the Patrician brand candles for years. In addition, Cappel’s go above and beyond when it comes to customer service!

I used the pink Patrician Candles for my daughter’s sweet 16 candelabra and they looked beautiful. They lit easily and stayed lit with no problem. I also bought the candle holders and spray painted them, they went into the Styrofoam base easily and held the candles perfectly in the candelabra. Cappel’s customer service was excellent, they answer any questions right away. I would highly recommend these products and would order from here again.
